New information……………Are the AFD failures on Monday criminal?

Probably.

The AFD claim they engaged the Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) to effect the rescue of Raymond Zack on Monday since the AFD “was not allowed”, neither capable nor willing.

Today’s press release from the ACFD says two very important things:

1. THE AFD DID NOT ENGAGE THE ACFD TO EFFECT THE RESCUE OF RAYMOND ZACK

2. THE ACFD HAS A COMPLETE TRAINED TEAM WITH ALL THE EQUIPMENT TO EFFECT A WATER RESCUE IN THE SHOALS OFF OUR SHORE, THE SHALLOW WATERS

This is now criminal.  The city of Alameda’s first responders—the AFD and the APD—should be under criminal investigation.

ACFD press release is here.

This jogs my memory someone remarked when we moved to Alameda. The city has a history of continuing f**k ups and corruption scandals. Its amazing that with this notoriety, Alameda should be as famous as San Francisco.
